Have there been any reported adverse effect in the use of Osteo Bi-Flex (Advanced Triple Strength)?
… I just read through an article on vitamins and supplements – mostly bad news, as I suspected, but the article is too general and does not provide a complete list of the supplements were found at fault … Mom has been taking Osteo Bi-Flex several years ago and I wonder if there has been a study showing negative results in the use of this special supplement.
Actually, no, no. While you are not allergic to shellfish, sulfur, or bovine cartilage, you should have no problem at all. In fact, the major nutrients (glucosamine and chondroitin) are two of the main nutrients the human body uses to create new cartilage, MSM is a nutrient based sulfur that helps maintain healthy connective tissues (including skin, joints, ligaments, etc) and collagen has similar benefits, hyaluronic acid is good for the lubrication of joints and helps Boswellia for joint general comfort. The resort is more expensive than some others on the market, but it is a good listing of some of the most beneficial nutrients for healthy joints. Also, I like to read articles about how the supplements are bad with a grain salt … some of the stories tend to focus on one part of an article or study and can not report this. I read the post (and referred to in article) I saw some good responses and some of the major pitfalls that some of the articles are divided into.
